It is good to be aware that just because something is called de-armouring it is, as mentioned, not necessarily the same approach. So it is important that you define yourself as a de-armouring professional and that you take in what feels true to you based on your alignment.
De-armouring schools and teachings exist on a spectrum, ranging from intense, integrative approaches to soft. practices.
Here's a broad overview, moving from the most intense
to the most subtle soft
Intense approach
Cathartic Body De-armouring: Uses strong physical pressure, breathwork, and vocal release to unlock deeply stored trauma and tension. Often includes emotional purging and intense somatic responses.
Shamanic or Ritualistic De-armouring: Incorporates plant medicine, drumming, or energy rituals to bring suppressed emotions to the surface for transformation.
Integrative approach ( mostly our approach )
Somatic & Trauma-informed De-armouring: Combines neuroscience, somatic therapy, and bodywork to gently release stored trauma while ensuring safety and regulation.
Tantric De-armouring: Uses breath, sound, and movement to release energetic blockages, often focusing on pleasure, sexual, and emotional liberation.
Soft approach
Energetic or Quantum De-armouring: Works with subtle energy fields, light touch, and intention to dissolve energetic armour without physical intensity.
Meditative or Awareness-based De-armouring: Focuses on mindfulness, visualization, and deep presence to recognize and soften internal barriers over time.
Each method has its place depending on the individual’s needs, trauma history, and capacity for release.
Most importantly, is the De-armouring professional based in a trauma-informed and trauma resolution approach catered to clients’ unique timeline or not?

DE-ARMOURING approach b y Riihannon The main purpose of Hea De-armouring founded by Riihannon is to help people reconnect to who they really are—their soul and essence. We do this by helping the body let go of tension, armour, stuck emotions, trauma, trauma responses, and holding patterns. As this happens, the body opens, and more life force, pleasure, and presence can flow.
This can only happen when the body feels safe. Not by force but by creating the safety and sensitivity the the uniqe client so the safety of the body can open. When the body feels open safe and relaxed, people can integrate the trauma experience as embodied wisdom and feel their true self again—more alive, more connected, and more clear. This often naturally awakens deeper layers like intuition, soul connection, and even kundalini energy.
This work doesn’t just change how people feel inside—it also shifts their energy field and how they show up in life and their ability to manifest. As their system clears, they start to live more from their soul potential, while staying rooted in their body and authenticity.
Because de-armouring is deep work, it must be done with care. In our HEA approach we always follow the body, work slowly, honour the defence mechanisms and focus on creating safety—so the body can open at its own pace. Allowing the process to be organic and grounded.
